One month ago today was Watermark’s very first service! Let’s take a moment to reflect on just 30 of the ways our LORD has worked in these first 30 days! Truly we serve a good and gracious God who deserves all of our praise and thankfulness!
1) He led us to Great 8 Cinema as a place for us to meet on Sunday mornings!
2) He provided a trailer for us to move & store everything for the church thanks to the generosity of Ming Senior Services!
3) He used Stickergeek Graphics to put our logo on the trailer!
4) He worked through His church to provide everything off our registry within 24 hours!
5) He directed us to an online worship resource which provides not only the music, vocals, and slides for the music but also the licensing permissions as well!
6) Through His people, He has provided through the tithes to cover the next two month’s of operating costs!
7) He has given us two flags and a sandwich board sign to help indicate where we are meeting!
8) He also provided a retractable sign for us to place in front of the theater room we’re meeting!
9) He has provided invitations, notebooks, stickers, and car decals to help spread the word of what He’s doing in and through Watermark Church!
10) He has also provided ____ (surprise being announced later this week! 🤫) as another HUGE way to tell the community about the movement He has started with Watermark Church!
11) He has already formed multiple teams of Ministry Partners & is growing them at a rapid rate!
12) He has equipped us with a website & five social media outlets to increase our digital footprint to reach our world with the Gospel!
13) He has given us understanding with what equipment to purchase with the audio, visual, and lighting!
14) He is getting His Word into the hands of people with three Bibles taken home in just five Sundays!
15) He has helped us get established in our community through the Union Area Chamber of Commerce!
16) He made available at Veterans Memorial Park one Sunday each month during the summer for after-church potlucks!
17) He led us to start our very first small group Bible study our first week as an opportunity for the people of Watermark to form relationships built upon His Word!
18) He is establishing a culture of being known through the nametags and the people of Watermark learning each other’s names & stories!
19) He has led people with a heart of service to share their gifts and abilities to advance God’s Kingdom!
20) He is instilling within His people a heart for the unreached through our monthly missions emphasis!
21) He has implemented church-wide communications through the ProjectBroadcast texting technology!
22) He called us to be a people of prayer whether “officially” serving on the Prayer Team or just taking a moment to stop & pray for our fellow man!
23) He has enabled us to be listed on the 99.1 JOY FM list of churches within Franklin County!
24) He has given favor to His church by having Jefferson City approve our non-profit status!
25) He has led us to create a weekly church blog to provide additional opportunities for those within His church gifted in writing to tap into their gift & share it with His people!
26) He has given His church a heart & hunger for His Word through the daily Bible verse posts!
27) He has led us 16% of the way through the book of Mark & what we have studied has already included the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, once-saved-always-saved, discipleship, & how to handle criticism!
28) He has worked through technology to enable His church service to be recorded & livestreamed for those who can’t come in-person!
29) He has provided us a space to meet for Good Friday Service, Secret Church, & Christmas Eve!
30) He led His church to celebrate our very first communion service as a church family!
We are eager to see how our Lord continues to work in and through Watermark during these next 30 days and on until His return!
